The Morning Routine Of Doe Deere May Surprise You Just A Little Bit

Doe Deere, founder and CEO of Lime Crime Cosmetics, believes that a morning routine is crucial to success and happiness. It sets the mood for the way that the rest of the day might go, and many people who have found success in life admit that they have a set of morning rituals they follow. These can help to improve attitude and increase production throughout the entire day, and Doe Deere starts her morning routine by waking up at 8:30am precisely without an alarm.

Doe Deere likes to get 9 hours of sleep, when possible, and believes that good sleep is one of the secrets to beauty. She starts her day out with a full glass of water and does some light yoga stretches. After the yoga, she attends to putting her breakfast together, which is usually grits with some yogurt, fruit, and fresh squeezed orange juice. She then takes a look at the schedule for the day and connects with her team. She also takes some time in the morning to catch up on emails and social media.

After taking care of all of this, Doe Deere listens to some music and begins her morning makeup routine. She uses a spread of her own products and spends anywhere between 15 minutes to an hour applying her cosmetics. She enjoys having this time to herself in the morning and also loves being able to draw on her own artistic abilities to create a unique look for herself. Instead of showering in the morning, she takes a shower at night, which helps her hair to be dry so she can style it in the way she desires.

Doe Deere knows there is science behind how pets can lower stress levels in people, and she loves cats. In fact, she has two Persian cats of her own and loves to spend time snuggling with them and petting them in the morning. She has admitted that she treats her cats like they are royalty, and hanging out with them in the morning always puts her in a good mood; no matter how she felt before.

Lime Crime CEO Talks Candidly About Success

The CEO of Lime Crime Cosmetics, Doe Deere, provided a lengthy candid interview to explain her aspirations, her vision and her processes. Deere has had great success with her extensive line of beauty products. Her online store offers products such as limp balm, lipstick, eyeshadow, nail polish and more. Her line is unique because it focuses on fun and creativity instead of just blemish concealment. Deere said that she considered her line of products as a tool for the consumers who are artists at heart. She said that the name of her company was a mixture of her favorite color and the way she feels about bright and vibrant colors.

Deer also explained some of her processes and procedures for handling employees, partners and other entities who help with the products. Deer believes that positive reinforcement is the way to get people to work hard. She did not adopt the “iron fist” mentality when she created her business. Instead, she decided to focus on letting people know that she does appreciate their hard work and all of their contributions to the company. Her business has been skyrocketing since she started it in 2008. She believes that her unique management style is what brought the business the high level of success that it has had.

When she first got the idea to sell cosmetic products online, she heard words of doubt from her peers. People told her that she would have a hard time selling products like lipstick online because customers would be eager to see them up close. She answered that small obstacle with the development of the lipstick swatch. Customers can see exactly what their lipstick will look like by visiting the page and viewing it on a pair of real lips. They can make their decisions based on what they see. Cosmetic retailers started adopting Deere’s method quickly after they saw the amount of success she had with it.

Lime Crime is a unique line of products that is definitely different from the majority of cosmetics that are out there today. Customers can easily get hooked on Lime Crime products because of their strong and vibrant essence. The texture of the products give them an additional dimension of tastiness that people just don’t see in other products. Deere continues to manufacture eye-catching products and provide those products to women across the nation who want to add pizzazz to their style.

The Success of EOS Lip Balm

A recent article from Fast Company, By Elizabeth Segran, shares how EOS Lip Balm has taken the beauty industry by storm. Chapstick and Blistex, being the longest running products in the market, are no longer the most popular items to buy. Over a seven year period EOS Lip Balm has managed to become a $250 million company, second only to Burt’s Bees lip balm.

It all started when three individuals, Mehra, Jonathan Teller, and Craig Dubitsky, deliberately thought about how to create an item that would stand out inside the beauty aisle of stores like Walgreens, Target, and Walmart. Lip Balm was the item they thought needed the biggest make-over.

They came up with the idea that their lip balm should create an emotional response from their customers, engaging all five senses. Once they decided on the round shape, colors, smells, and tastes of their new product they attempted to get it into major outlets. Walgreens was the first to accept, later came Costco, Target and Walmart. In order to compete with the bigger brands of lip balm, they decided to create their own manufacturing company to supply their enormous orders.

Using ads on TV and magazines pages helped create the excitement they were looking for, but they also advertised to 25-35 year old women through beauty blogs, celebrities, and social media platforms, such as, Facebook and Instagram. As Teller stated, “We became the largest advertiser in our category.” Selling a million lip balms per week is a giant success for the EOS Company,, who started at ground zero with their idea for making a lip balm more interesting and satisfying for their customers. Mehra and Teller, Dubitsky no longer with the company, have concluded it was their experiences in big business and start-up that helped make their product a huge success.
