Endorsements from inside medicine can carry even more weight. Dr. Paul Nassif, himself a plastic surgeon, chose Dr. Andrew Jacono for his own deep-plane facelift. A recent profile says that decision underscores the trust he has earned among colleagues.
Much of that trust stems from the technique he pioneered. Sometime in the early 2000s, he developed the Minimal Access Deep-Plane Extended facelift, known as MADE. The approach moves skin, muscle, and fat as a single structure instead of stretching the skin by itself. Outcomes can hold for 12 to 15 years, and patients tend to look refreshed rather than visibly altered.
Credentials Behind the Reputation
High-profile patients aside, his record holds up on paper. He graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1996 and completed residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he was administrative chief resident. Newsweek ranked him third among facelift surgeons in America for 2025, and Harper’s Bazaar included him on its list of the 24 best plastic surgeons nationwide.
Colleagues also know him through his writing and teaching. Dr. Andrew Jacono has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles and a 2021 textbook on extended deep-plane facelifting. He trains fellows for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Celebrity clients make up only one part of his practice.
